SENSE OUT
Exhibition Project
2024

AbstractSENSE OUT is an interactive exhibition project created by a team of five students as part of a university assignment at FH Joanneum. The goal was to design a container-based exhibition placed in a public space that allows visitors to experience and reflect on sensory overload in today’s digital world.

In an age dominated by constant digital stimuli, the exhibition guides visitors through a sequence of three immersive spaces from overwhelming sensory impressions to complete sensory deprivation. Through interactive LED panels, audiovisual elements and data-driven installations, “SENSE OUT” visualizes how continuous exposure to media affects the human nervous system and mental well-being.

The container’s design, inspired by the neural network of the brain, becomes a metaphor for the overstimulated human mind. The exhibition invites visitors to “sense out” to momentarily disconnect from the noise of everyday life and rediscover stillness and awareness.

My role focused on concept development and 3D modeling, contributing to the spatial layout, external container visualization and the integration of the neural-inspired graphic system.

Animation
A motion-based visualization inspired by neural network structures, created to reflect the conceptual foundation of the project. The animation was used in the conceptual model to illustrate sensory overstimulation and extend the project’s graphic language into a dynamic, immersive representation.
