Fashion & Feelings
Research Project
2024

Abstract

“Fashion & Feelings” is a research-based short film exploring how emotions, identity and social belonging are expressed through clothing. Through theoretical analysis, visual research and a small survey, the project investigates how subcultures and historical events shape collective aesthetics. By observing the emotional power of visual symbols in fashion, from punk to hip-hop and modern social movements, the film highlights clothing as a form of cultural communication. The accompanying poster and written paper extend these insights, offering both analytical and visual interpretations of fashion as a social language.

Poster

A collage of attitude, emotion, and subculture. Rough edges, loud type and a face that says everything without explaining it.
